Calbourne Road Extension

An elegant finish to this rear extension. Adding only a 3.5m to the end of this mid-terrace property, though not a significant build, does make a significant change to the home. The size can make permissions easier to obtain, but this needs to be confirmed street by street if you’re thinking of this with the help of your local authority or knowledgeable contractor.

 

This particular project was completed with Aluminium bi-folding doors, that open the home up to the garden and outdoors in the warmer months. The home was photographed here during the day, but with the blinds down. You can see the amount of natural light the large glass roof domes and doors still allow in, but also provides an insight into the space at night. The mixture of hanging and spotlights provides a lovely balance to the room.

 

The white finish throughout with the darker centre island shows depth and perspective with the overall result being contemporary and stylish.
